About as close to ‘typical, gritty cyberpunk’ as the known universes get. This universe has no small amount of police brutality lurking around, and ableism. Not a lot of racism, if that’s helpful at all. This universe features a multi-layered mega-city, and the ways hope can be a weapon in the face of a world that would be more profitable with more folks dead.
